She was predeceased by: her husbands, Anthony Fitzick, David Simpson, William Chandler and Carl Seiks; and her parents, Bertha and Alfred.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Suzanne, Nicholas, Michael, Tyler, Ashley and Jonathan; her great grandchildren, Preston, Sati, Sofia, Isabella, Jonathan and Remi; her children-in-law, Gene and Carol; and her children, Ann and John.

“I was honored to call Betty my friend and will miss her kind spirit, wonderful graciousness, and her ability to make me feel happy just to be around her. We lived in the same community for a time and enjoyed water aerobics, monthly get-togethers, and birthday celebrations. Betty loved her family and talked about them frequently. I loved hearing her stories about the early days in Ocean City, and her years as a traveling companion with The Miss America Pageant. She’s a heavenly angel now.”
