He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Gail (Lohse); his parents, Vincent Witkowski, Sr. and Alice; and his siblings, Thomas and Joan.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Violet, Marisela Gerner, Grayson and Ashton Campbell; his stepgrandson Matthew Gerner; and his sons-in-law, Shawn Campbell and Andrew Ward.

He took extreme pride in ensuring that the pantry was organized well with volunteers (constantly spending time there himself) and maintained a certain level of food donations.
