He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Shute and James Shute. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Shute; his daughters, Mackenzie Shute-Hails and Samantha Shute; his grandson Noah Hails; and his siblings, Joan Snell of Irvington and Peter Shute of Yonkers. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Church (100 Willow Bend Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
