With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonya Owens of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, born in Bristol, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Sonya's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She is survived by : her husband F. Herbert Owens, III; and her sisters, Wanda Romano (Frank) and Jogina Picariello.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (1439 Springdale Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 8th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Colestown Cemetery Kings Highway and Church (100 Kings Hwy N, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034).
