He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Donald Kavanaugh Sr., Dorothy Kavanaugh and Michael Piarulli; his uncle Steven Rusch; and his cousin Andrew Rusch.

He is survived by : his parents, Thomas Kavanaugh and Jacinta Kavanaugh; his stepparent Stacey Kavanaugh; his sibling Kyle; his stepsiblings, Ryan and Danielle Adler; his grandmother Roslyn Piarulli; and his aunts and uncles, Donald Kavanaugh Jr. (Kimberly), Wayne Kavanaugh, Angelique Rusch, Roslyn Hopkins (Ron) and Theodosia Svinicki (Jerome).
