He is survived by: his brother-in-law Edward Ward; his children, Deborah Bantle (Timothy), Russell Jr. (Andrea), Randy (Dottie), Rod (Robbie), Deidre Wiggins (Shane), Rory (Jennifer), Ryan, Jessica and Devon; and his grandchildren, Amy (Nathan), Joel (Amber), Zachary (Stephanie), Ethan, Gabriel (Grace), Rachel, Aaron (Larissa), Sarah (Paul), Jeffrey, Douglas (Samantha), Casey (Brett), Maggie, Aslan, Rilian, Corin, Josiah, Joshua, Mackenzie, Addison, Julian, Justice, Jaxen and Jeremiah.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Life Choices Center 95 Oak St Binghamton, NY 13905 in Russ's memory.
