He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Dana Abraham-McCrea; his child Richard McCrea III; his siblings, Mark, Michael, Jimmy and Thurman McCrea; his grandchildren, Nakeya and Richard Smith; and his mother-in-law Melanie Abraham. He was also cherished by 6 nieces, 1 nephews, and many wonderful cousins.
