He was predeceased by: his parents, Narayanswamy Ramamirtham and Mythili Ramamirtham. He is survived by: his wife Rupa Iyer; his children, Amrit and Tara Iyer; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Iyer; his granddaughter Olive Iyer; and his sister Kamakshi Venkataraman.
