He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Scott-Lewis and Edward Pearl Lewis; and his siblings, Eugene Ashland Lewis, Edward Joseph Lewis and Gloria Lewis-Littles.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smullen-Lewis; his children, Ralph A. Lewis, II (Keami), Dawn Lewis-Merriman (Darryl), Braxton T. Lewis (Maria) and Nikkole Lewis-Robinson (Jonathan, Sr.); his grandchildren, Ralph A. Lewis, III, Bianca R. Lewis, Charles Merriman-Brown (Chaz), Bria N. Merriman, Brian G. Merriman, Gianna N. Lewis, Jourden K. Lewis, Jonathan W. Robinson, II and Jase L. Robinson; his great grandchild Rhys C. Lewis; his siblings, Eleanor Lewis-Grasty (Kenneth) of Bumpass, VA and Martin Donald Lewis (Lesie) of Middletown, DE; and his sister-in-law Carole J. Bryant of Claymont, DE.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
