He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Palek and Gwen Palek; and his brother Mark Palek (Marjorie). He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Jenna Palek (John Martin), Eric Palek and Jared Palek; his sibling Kris Palek (Barrie Brown); his stepbrother Kevin Loesch (Athena); and his stepmother Joan Palek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
