Britland (Robert), Pamela Gerules Smith (Terry) and Timothy Gerules (Kerstin); his siblings, Raimund and Edmund; his grandchildren, Amanda, Ben, Kate, Hannah, Caroline and Samuel; his great grandchildren, Avery, Adeline and Kailani; his nephew John Sutton; and his niece Lisa Sutton.
