He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Diana Lucca (Joseph), Debra Heim (Luis Taboada), David Heim and Andrea Pascale (Matthew); his grandchildren, Gianna, Matteo, Fiona, Teagan, Cillian, Javier and Violet; his siblings, Joseph Heim (Margie), William Heim (Frances), Thomas Heim (Anne), Jane Dickerman (Christopher), Anne O'Donnell (Edward), Rita Harder (Frank), Barbara Ballard (James), Georgeann Wilke (Wayne), Teresa Heim, Gregory Heim (Roseanne), Paul Heim (Debra) and Robert Heim; and his parents, Joseph E. Heim and Lillian L. Heim (Sosna).
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory (441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church (318 Carl Hasselhan Dr, Atco, NJ 08004). The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (260 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's name to support Shane's Council Knights of Columbus Waterford Works, NJ or Christ the Redeemer Catholic Parish Atco, NJ in honor of his unwavering faith and dedication to helping others.
