He was predeceased by: his father David E. Strother, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Erica L. Belmont (Benoff); his children, Victoria T. Strother and Ethan C. Belmont; his mother Donna Strother (Jim Bush); and his siblings, Ryan S. Strother, Kevin M. Strother (Bryne S.), Holly Lynn Hanni (Brent C.), Christopher R. Werner (Heather M.) and Kimberly A. Hadjar. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for his childrens education can be made to; "In Memorial of David E. Strother, Jr.," c/o Police and Fire Fighters Credit Union-Marlton Crossing Branch, 237 Route 72, South Marlton, NJ 08053.
