She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leo and Henrietta Hess; and her siblings, James Leo Hess III and Helen Elizabeth Fisher. She is survived by: her husband Barry C. Plimpton; her children, Sarah Sempier (Scott), Leah Faris (Benjamin), Hannah Plimpton (Mark Hunsberger) and Timothy Plimpton (Steffi Holmes); her grandchildren, Christopher, Abigail, Joel, Nora, Jacob, Clara, Bridget, Calista and Felicity; and her friend Kendra Mochel.
