He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Collins; his son Brendan Collins; and his grandson Stephen Collins. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Lynne Brown (Anita) of Mark Collins, M. D.; his grandchildren, Nichole Morin (Kevin), Kerri Lapointe (Chris), Stephanie Thoma (Adam), David Collins and Michael Crites; and his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Kendyl, Madison, Reagan, Kate, Samuel, Silas, Marley and Andrew (Renee Rand).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Brendan's name to either Samaritan Hospice (http://www.samaritannj.org) or St. Joan of Arc Church.
