It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Slater (Marlboro, New Jersey), born in Belleville, New Jersey, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Slater; her parents, Joseph DiRuggiero and Mary DiRuggiero; her brother James DiRuggiero; and her daughter-in-law Victoria Slater.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Christine Slater), Thomas (Mary Kay Slater) and Glen Slater; her sister Angela Csaszar; her brother-in-law Harold Slater; and her grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Patrick Slater, Finn, Addison, Ryann, Jax and Crew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home & Cremation Service (501 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751). An entombment was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the St Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel.
