He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Wheeler and Walter Wheeler; and his siblings, Walter Wheeler and Frances Pennock. He is survived by: his significant other Maria Brill; his children, Joseph (Jamie Wheeler) of Forked River, Christopher Wheeler of Hazlet and Angela Wheeler of Hazlet; his stepchildren, Caren (Carl Mullner) and John (Elena Brill); his sister Virginia (Dan Murley); his grandchildren, Adalynn and Alexander; and his stepgranddaughters, Juliet and Vera. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
