John Zaferiou Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2024, at the age of 82, John Zaferiou of Marlboro, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Zaferiou to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Daskalakis Zaferiou; his daughters, Despina (George Markos), Eva (George Papagrigorakis) and Georgia (Nicolaos Plevritis); his sister Garafilia Voudtis; and his grandchildren, Tom Markos, Yianni Markos, Alex Plevritis and Mario Plevritis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kimisis TIS Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church (20 Hillcrest Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Fair View Cemetery.

In lieu of traditional remembrances, John's family asks with gratitude donations be made to Kimisis Tis Theotokou Church.
