He was predeceased by : his parents, Rube Schwartz and Irene Schwartz (Davis); his wife Agnes, his daughter Tracey, and his siblings Robert and Shirley.
He is survived by : son Steve (Christina) of Readington NJ and daughter Cynthia Cialini (Michael) of Egg Harbor Township, sister Dorris Alexander of Sunny Isles, FL, his grandchildren, Daisy, Joseph, Nicholas, Lily, Henry and Declan; and his great grandchild Francesca.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) or Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS).
