He is survived by: his wife Arlene Snyder; his son Dr. Andrew Potler (Marcia Powdermaker); his son-in-law Martin Vega; his grandchildren, Natan Vega Potler and Hannah Potler Espie (Charles Espie); his great grandchild Alexander Espie; and his sister Alia Sayegh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
