With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris A. Dolan in Maplewood, New Jersey, who passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Doris has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Andersen and Alfreda Andersen; and her brother Kenneth Andersen. She is survived by: her brother Donald Andersen (Carol); her children, John P. Dolan Jr. (Evelyn) and Aileen (Todd Healy); and her grandchildren, Jacklyn Rita Healy and Trace John Healy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Ferguson - Vernon Funeral Home (241 NJ-94, Vernon Township, NJ 07462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
