He was predeceased by: his parents, Delno Hoffner and Diane Hoffner; his child Del Hoffner; and his siblings, Ida Dodel (Bill), Delores Pearce (Al) and Daniel Hoffner.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Goetz, Craig Hoffner, Ashleigh Hunt (Ian), Timothy Goetz, Wesley Hoffner, Jenna Hoffner, Lachlan, Finnlagh, Miles and Austin. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
