She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Valadez and Delores Valadez; and her brother Jimmy Valadez. She is survived by: her husband Donald J. Smith of Manville, NJ; her children, Alison Marulanda (Jimmy) of Hillsborough, NJ and Aaron Smith (Cassidy) of Naples; and her siblings, Johathan Valadez of San Clemente and Esther Valadez of Buena Park.
