He is survived by: his wife Marta Barkovciova Mihalova; his father Michal Mihalov; his children, Marta Dzadik, Lucia Dzuba and Katarina Stech; his sisters, Eva Mihalova Hisemova and Slavka Mihalova Vojnikova; and his grandchildren, Nina Dzadik, Nicolle Dzuba, Victoria Dzuba, Josef Stech and Anthony Stech. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
