He was predeceased by: his parent George Benyo; his wife Eleanor M. Benyo; his siblings, Margaret, John, Thomas, Emma, George "Benny" Jr., Helen and Paul; his grandchildren, Duncan Lyon, Penelope Lyon and Benton Lyon; and his sons-in-law, Richard Lister and William Scott Lyon.
He is survived by: his parent Anna Benyo; his daughters, Diane Lister of Raleigh, NC, Joann Lyon and Debra Benyo; his sister Catherine Benyo of Drifton, PA; and his granddaughters, Patricia Lister, Stefanie Lister and Allison Lister.
