We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2019, at the age of 85, John Gubernot (Manville, New Jersey), born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joseph, Mitchell and Walter. He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Sitarik; his son John (Laura); his grandchildren, Richie, Mary and David Therien; his daughter Susan (Kevin Benz) of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Rob, Sara and Emily; his daughter Diane (Lin Amendt) of Silver Spring, MD; his brother Edmund (Mary) of Newark, DE; his sister-in-law Christine of Reading, PA; his pet Bentley; and also, Brian and Ashley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, per John's wishes, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or your local foodbank.
