She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sheroshik and Matilda Sheroshik (Drobna); and her siblings, Josephine Martinelli, Tillie Shoemaker, Marion Dolak, Joseph Sheroshik and Paul Zupancic.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her son Ray; her daughter-in-law Pam Meddleton of Flemington, NJ; her daughter Cheryl Stier; her son-in-law Peter of Niskayuna, NY; and her grandchildren, Melissa Meddleton, Cassy Stier, Mark Meddleton and Christopher Stier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Jean's memory to the Manville Rescue Squad, Tomorrows Children's Fund, Tabby's Place of Ringoes NJ, or The Saratoga Therapeutic Equestrian Program (STEP) of Glenville NY.
