He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael S. Mattson, Sr. and Mary Rose Mattson; his brother Anthony Mattson; and his niece Deanna. He is survived by: his daughter Serena Mattson; his sister Barbara Murphy; his brothers-in-law, Clayton Murphy and Christopher Hodson; his nieces and nephews, McKenzie and Maddie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aria, Malakai and Jesiah.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Red Bank National Park (100 Hessian Ave, National Park, NJ 08063).
