With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph G. Nahas (Mantua, New Jersey), born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nahas and Eleanor Nahas (Schappe); and his sister Ann. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Nahas (Mongrain); his sons, Joseph Nahas Jr. (Suzanne), Michael Nahas (Suzanne) and James Nahas (Deborah); his grandchildren, Caitlin Jackson (Leo), Brian Nahas (Katlyn), Ryan Nahas, Michael Nahas (Ciara), Alec Nahas (Michelle Gunn) and David Nahas (Savannah); his great grandchildren, Ella, Quinn and Addison; and his sister Eleanor Marino (Lee).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of the Incarnation (240 Main St, Mantua Township, NJ 08051). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
