With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Thornton Jr. of Mantua, New Jersey, who passed away on August 19, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Alicia Marie. He is survived by: his wife Gayle L. (Smith); his children, Jennifer Maurer, Kelly Redman (Chris) and CJ Maurer (Tina); his grandchildren, Ashton St. John, Colin St. John, Alexa Redman and Joey Redman; his great grandchild Everlee Paige St. John; and his siblings, John Thornton (Diane), Theresa Casalnova (John), Kathy Corsini (Bob) and Joey Thornton (late Rob Cordero). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
