With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane E. Shontz of Mantua, New Jersey, born in Camden, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hebert C. Earling, Sr. and Grace Earling; and her daughter Michelle McCarty. She is survived by: her husband Robert Shontz; her children, Hallie Giza, Stacey McCarty, Stephen McCarty (Roxanna) and Hollie Grover; her stepchildren, Jessica Sheppard and Joshua Shontz; her brother Herbert C. Earling, Jr. (Anna); and her niece Lindsey Mills Lucas. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
