He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Kelly), AnnaMarie DiNisio (Gregory) and Patrick (Lauren); his grandchildren, Luciana, Gavin, Alessio and Milo; and his siblings, Margaret Pistilli and John. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or donations, his family suggests that those inclined to do so, seek to be a hero for someone, because he was a hero to them.
