With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William R Peterson of Manchester, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Peterson and Florence Peterson; his siblings, John, Charles and Dorothy; his niece Florence; and his brother-in-law Robert J Gilmartin.
He is survived by: his wife Ann E Peterson; his nieces, Dorothy Riviera and Nancy Calvary (Mark); his nephew Thomas Peterson; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Gilmartin (Mary), James Gilmartin and Denise Gilmartin; and his nieces and nephews, Veronica March (Edward), Carolyn Biancamano (Steven), Bobby Gilmartin (Skye), Christopher Gilmartin (Natalie), Erin Gilmartin, Anne Gilmartin and Kathleen Gilmartin. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oliverie Funeral Home (2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759).
In lieu of flowers, Bill's favorite charities were Tunnel to Towers Foundation and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
