He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Anthes Jankunas; and his parents, Francis Jankunas and Jean Jankunas. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Surmay (Gary) of Cranford and Alison Moffitt (Mike) of Scottsdale, AZ.; his sister Marie-Elaine Degnan (Robert) of Barnegat, NJ.; his mother-in-law Jean Anthes of Elizabeth; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Kurzweil of Colonia and Willian Anthes of Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Kaelyn, Caroline and Matthew. He is also survived by his parents, loved his sister and provided for his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Camp Nejeda, a summer camp in Stillwater, NJ that empowers children living with Type 1 diabetes.
