He is survived by: his mother Margaret Whitehead; his wife Kathy; his children, Craig Whitehead of Toms River, NJ and Lindsay Gurnari; his son-in-law Tim; his granddaughters, Ellie and Rylie; and his sister Denise Jenkins of Providence, RI.
