It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J Ray of Manchester, New Jersey, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Anne M Ray; his children, Mark Ray, Michelle Barry (Michael) and Dianne Kurth (Drew); his grandchildren, Colin, Megan, Ryan, Sean Barry and Evan; and his children, Katie and Alex Kurth.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Oliverie Funeral Home (2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759). A Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Luke's Roman Catholic Church (1674 Old Freehold Rd, Toms River, NJ 08755). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rockland Cemetery (201 Kings Hwy, Sparkill, NY 10976).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
