He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Janice; his parents, Peter and Irene (Pagliarulo); his grandchildren, Noah, Lily and Andrew Romando; his children, Catherine Rehm (Michael), Christine Freitag (Albert), Constance Hanifin (Shawn Vosper), Irene Rand (Darren) and Peter Romando (LeeAnna Camper); his grandchildren, Michael, Mallory (Gregory Hejja), Ross, Daniel (Heather Hanifin), Garrett, Connor, Ashley (Kevin Darmon), Kenneth and Ava; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Jacob, Reagan and Esme; and his caregiver Frank Piscitelli. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church (30 Schoolhouse Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (30 Schoolhouse Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in the memory of Daniel Romando be directed to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church 30 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759 where he was an usher for many years.
