He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Soales and Ruth Soales. He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Geddes Soales (Maddie); his son Brian; his sister Eileen Pipala; his nieces, Carolyn Eknoian (John) and Colleen Angrist (Richard); his nephew John Pipala; and his cousin Elinore Stempniewiecz.
