She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Spear and June Spear; and her husband Kenneth Spencer. She is survived by: her children, Tara Cooper, Lincoln O'Hare (Tamara) and Thomas O'Hare; her grandchildren, Emily, Allison, Bobby, Daniel, Elie and Emma; her stepchildren, Doug, Amy, Jenny, Matt, Katie and Lauren; and her pet Sammie.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be directed to the Jersey Shore Animal Shelter at 185 Brick Blvd, Brick, NJ 08723, in remembrance of Merelee's love for all creatures.
