She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis and Clara of Montana; her children, Jeffrey Louis Smith and Claire Elaine Martin; her former husband Edward M. Smith, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Arnold Kroll.
She is survived by: her son Lawrence E Smith (Lisa); her sister Lois Kroll; her son-in-law Jeffrey Martin; her grandchildren, Jeremy Martin, Justin Smith (Kara), Kyle Janelli (Steve), Lauren Colligan (Bryan), Jonathan Smith, Jeremiah Smith and Douglas Smith; her great grandchildren, Declan Smith, Emilia Smith, Camilla Janelli, Talon Janelli, Logan Colligan, Jacqueline Smith and Elizabeth Smith; and her nieces, Alison, Heather and Luisa.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Alzheimer's Association.
