She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeBoer and Florence DeBoer of Grand Rapids, MI; and her sister Janice Currie of Grand Rapids, MI.. She is survived by: her husband Robert (Ben); her daughter Alison Clodfelter; her daughter-in-law Nicole Frankel; her son John Clodfelter; her siblings, Patricia (Patti) Sori and John DeBoer of Ashville, NC; and her mother-in-law Joan Clodfelter of Lexington, NC. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in her honor be made to The Triple Negative Breast Cancer foundation supporting research, supporting patients, and raising awareness for Triple Negative Breast Cancer https://tnbcfoundation.org.
