He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John Carroll and Katherine Johnson; his grandparents, Augusta and Joseph James Carroll; and his sister Joan Stefanelli.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Jennifer; his wife Margaret "Marge" Carroll; his son Robert (Kris); his grandchildren, Ryan and Rylee; his daughter Barbara Slanovec (Steve); his grandsons, Jeffrey (Brooke) and Tyler (Amanda Brown); and his daughter Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tunnels to Towers (T2T.org) in Poppy's honor.
