It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Johnson of Manasquan, New Jersey, born in Carrollton, Kentucky, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dieter Johnson; her daughter Janine Stewart; her parents, James Alsip and Eva Alsip; and her siblings, Jimmy, Jerry, Linda and Shelby.

She is survived by: her daughter Pam; her son-in-law Mark Herrmann of Manasquan; and her grandchildren, Samantha Stewart, Erin Stewart, Ian Stewart, Kyle Stewart and Jamie Herrmann.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Manasquan HS Girls Tennis Program (donations made payable to Pam Herrmann, 406 Euclid Ave. Manasquan, NJ 08736).
