He is survived by: his wife Etta Mae; his daughters, Leah Matthews-Hay (Robert Hay), Jaime Matthews and Kimberly Romanik (Brian); his grandchildren, Janis Hale, Matilyn "Mattie" Romanik and Tyler Romanik; his siblings, Leslie Dillon (Patrick), Patricia Lovgren (Denis), Alexandra "Moonie" Hahn and William (Hâng); and his sister-in-law Geryl Moore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
