He is survived by: his wife Vera Zavada; his children, Robert Popan (Eileen) and Connie Popan; his grandchildren, Diana Pippa (Joseph) and Jason Popan; his great grandchildren, Matthew Randall, Andrew Popan, Joseph Popan, Emma Pippa and Madison Popan; and his stepchildren, Carleen Russell (James), Kevin Conley (Joanne), Kirk Conley (Marcy) and Craig Conley.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martha's Church (3800 Herbertsville Rd, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
