He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Huss (Beckman) and George Buck Huss; his wife Helen Duling of Manhattan; and his son Philip August. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Ann (Kevin Gavan), Katherine Maria (Frank Conte), George Alexander, Mary Elizabeth (Paul Zetelski) and Eric Mitchell Huss (Melissa); his grandchildren, Jennifer Huss, Kevin, Kieran Gavan, Annaleigh (Conte), Tom Halldorson, Alex, Jonathan, Emily, Nena Huss, Chris, Genevieve, Jessica (Zetelski), James Snell, Alexander, Kathy Zetelski and Grace Elizabeth Huss; and his great grandchildren, Ivy of Georgia, Finn, Ayla, Ava, Parker, Quinn, Demmi, August, Samantha, Jimmy, Willow and River.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the D'Elia's Funeral Home (1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Follow St. Mary Cemetery.
