He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Donald "Wabo" (Helen); his mother Winifred Hand Joseph; his wife Carol Anne Hand; his sister Germaine Metzger; his half-sister Jane Abbott; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Hand.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Christopher "Sim" (Deneen), Fredric Thomas Jr. "Himer" (Nancy) and Patrick Aloysius "Perk" (Linda); his brother Jeffery Hand (Connie); his grandchildren, Kellee (Reid), Dana (Mike), Kendal (Marc), Jamie (Chris), Carly (Cory), Katrina, Erika, Madelyn and Emilee; his great grandchildren, Maisie, Charlee-Mae, Cameron, Beau and Rosalie; his siblings-in-law, Jean Bell and Marty Metzger; his close friends, Pat and Al Keith; his caregivers, Nancy, Cathy, Anne, Maggie and Dr. Priscilla; and also Jeff Thompson.
