Fred Gronau Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Fred Gronau of Manasquan, New Jersey, born in Kenilworth, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on February 2, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia (Patty); his parents, Erich Gronau and Herta Gronau; and his sister Joan Barlow. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Boyd (Harrison Boyd) of Raleigh, NC and Bryan Gronau (Leslie Gronau) of Rumson, NJ; and his grandchildren, Harrison, Jackson, Katherine Boyd, Charles, Carter and Addison Gronau.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Orender Family Home For Funerals (2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan (16 Virginia Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's honor to the N.J. Former Troopers Heritage Foundation College Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to children and grandchildren of active, retired and deceased New Jersey State Troopers.
