He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Gaeta and Ralph Gaeta; his siblings, Joseph and Marianne Torres; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Finnerty.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Stephanie Carson (Kevin), Gene Jr. (Megan) and Christopher (Elizabeth); his granddaughters, Madeline, Elizabeth, Abigail, Catherine, Grace, Rose, Sophie, Emily and Caitlin; his siblings, Ralph (Kathy) and Alice (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret, Marion and Salvatore.
