She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Powell of Moorestown, NJ and Mary Leonard Powell of Shallotte. She is survived by: her husband Jim Gardner; her children, Elizabeth Howard (Peter), Jaime Strauss (Stan), John Gardner (Heather) and Erik Gardner (Jodi); her grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan, Cooper, Johnny, Maggie, Jackson, Henry, Mason and Phoebe; her sister Priscilla Clark; her nieces, Jessica, Ashley (Eric) and Whitney; her great grandchildren, Henry, Jackson, Lilah and Coralie; her cousins, Nick and Eddie; her great-nephews, Luca and Jack; her uncles, John and Tom; her aunt Judy; and also, Michael and Ken. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and 21 first cousins.
